William Michael Holmes Roe
William Michael Holmes Roe was the fifth child and first son born to Daniel B and Margaret Martha Vanderhoof Roe.
In 1892 William married Emma May Green, daughter of Elias Green and Caroline E Butler Green of Chemung County, New York. Michael and Emma May had five children; Christina D (1893-1966, m. Claude E Bush), Leslie Elias (1894-1936), Celia Pearl (1895-1983, m. Kenneth Henry Inscho), Glen Daniel (1897-1978), and Clarence F (1903-1991).
William was a resident of Sullivanville most of his life and operated the family farm.
William died at the age of 80 and is buried at Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, Chemung, New York.
