Matilda Fairchild Sutton Barclay
Matilda Fairchild Sutton was the last child born to Michael Rorick Sutton and Elizabeth Forrester Sutton. She spent her early childhood in Sussex County, New Jersey and relocated with the family in the early 1850s to Macomb, Michigan.
In 1860 Matlida married William L Barclay, son of William Barclay and Catherine Alexander of Detroit. There is no record of children from this marriage.
Matilda Farichild Sutton Barclay died in 1921. There are no burial records for her, but she is likely buried with her husband at Elmwood Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.
