Lewis J Sutton
Lewis J Sutton was born in 1802 son of Jacob Sutton and Hannah Rorick Sutton.
On November 8, 1823 Lewis married Elizabeth Losey and the two had six children born in Sussex County, New Jersey: Harriet F (m. Samuel Groover), Cornelius L (m. Elizabeth Brower), Abagail M (m. Ebenezer T Beardslee), Susan T (m. Charles Beardslee), Marion L (m. Ada Palmer), and Delphina M (m. Isaac H Lawerence).
At some point between the birth of their last daughter in 1845 and Lewis’s death in 1852, the family moved to Michigan.
Lewis J Sutton died in 1852 and is buried at Sashabaw Cemetery in Clarkston, Oakland County, Michigan.
