Henry John Vanderhoof
Henry John was the eighth child born to Garret and Catherine Winters Vanderhoof.
By 1870, Henry had married Ursula Ann Smith and moved to Chemung County, New York. Ursula was the daughter of Sanford and Barbara Ellen Woolever Smith. Henry John and Ursula had seven children; Lyda, Elvira (m. Frank Riggles), Jesse H, Nellie B (m. Frank H Bronson), Clara Mae (m. Charles Gile), Clarence and John Henry.
Henry worked as a farmer and lived in Chemung County until his death at age 37.
Henry is buried at South School Cemetery in Catlin, Chemung, New York.
