Goldie E Roe was born in 1890, daughter of Walter Arlington Roe and Edith Irene Cogswell Roe. Goldie lived at home with the family until the time of her marriage and at the time was working as a stapler at a sales book company.

On December 25, 1912, Goldie married Ralph Nicholas Crain, son of William E Crain and Elizabeth Ambs Crain. Goldie and Ralph had four children, born in Chemung, New York; James P, Clifford, Kenneth W, and Ethel Alberta.

As a young woman, Goldie held a job at a sales book company. After her marriage it seems she worked at home, keeping house and taking care of the children. After losing her husband in 1943, there is currently no information available on what Goldie may have done for her remaining years.

Goldie died in 1982 at the ripe age of 91 years. She is buried with her husband at Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, Chemung County, New York.
