Edward James Doyle
When Edward James Doyle was born on November 17, 1877, in Franklin, New Jersey, his father, John, was 22 and his mother, Susan, was 22. He married Sarah Bessie Ball on June 18, 1905, in his hometown. They had seven children; Viva Hazel, Lawrence Edward, Esther (m. Leonard Klein) Robert, Nellie E, John G and Joan (m. Ballard Quass).
By 1910 the family was living in Hardyston and by 1920 they would move to 10th Avenue in Hawthorne, where they would stay through 1940.
He died on March 31, 1959, in Hawthorne, New Jersey, at the age of 81, and was buried in Hamburg, New Jersey.
