Barton Hoffman Whitehead
Barton Hoffman was the fourteenth child born to Samuel and Velma though at the time of his birth only eleven children were surviving.
Barton died of marasmus, which is severe undernourishment, and contributory gastroenteritis. He is buried in the family plot at Highland cemetery.
