Jacob Sutton
Jacob Sutton was born in 1804 son of Jacob Sutton and Hannah Rorick Sutton.
On December 4, 1825 Jacob married Teresa Cox and the two had ten children born in Sussex County, New Jersey: Reuben Randolph (m. Elizabeth Fox), Martin C (m. Mary Bray), Esther Celina (Henry Fox), Lemuel F (m. Eleanor Westfall), Emily, John H (m. Mary Benjamin), George M (m. Harriet Mackerley), Dayton C (m. Abagail Farber), Teresa M(m. Rev A.J. Adams), and Georgeanna L (m. John C Tibbetts).
Jacob worked as a farmer all of his life farming his own land in Sussex County.
Jacob Sutton died in 1891 and is buried with his wife at North Hardyston Cemetery in Hamburg, Sussex County, New Jersey.
