On November 8, 1902, Nellie married William Henry Ball, son of George Edward Ball and Sarah Elizabeth Yatman Ball. Nellie and William had three children; Ralph Burnett, Edward Vivian and Sarah Eleanor (m. Maurice Flynn).
Nellie only completed school through her first year of High School. She most likely worked as a homemaker, taking care of the children.
Nellie Ray Kimble Ball died in 1952 and is buried at North Hardyston Cemetery in Hamburg, Sussex, New Jersey.
