David Hammond
David Hammond was born in 1830, son of Julia (???) Hammond. David’s father is currently unverified.
In 1874 David married Hannah Roe, daughter of Daniel Roe and Margaret Martha Vanderhoof Roe. David and Hannah had two children; Laura (1870-1938, m. Henry Spencer) and Nelson D (1882).
David worked primarily as a day laborer, performing odd jobs for wage salary.
David died in 1921 and is buried with his wife at Coopers Plains Cemetery in Coopers Plains, Steuben, New York.
