John Garrett Van Blarcom
John Garrett was the only child born to Peter W and Mary A Backster Van Blarcom.
On June 7, 1917, John married Sophia L Laile, daughter of Ferdinand and Olga Young Laile. There is no record of children from their marriage.
John finished 2 years of college and held several different jobs, according to census docs. In 1900 he was listed as working for a fan manufacturing company, and later as a court stenographer.
John died in 1946 and is buried with his parents at North Hardyston Cemetery in Hamburg, Sussex, New Jersey.
