Sarah Elizabeth Roe Bicknell
Sarah Elizabeth Roe was the second child born to Daniel and Margaret Martha Vanderhoof Roe. Sarah lived on her own most of her life and wasn’t first married until the age of 62.
On September 27, 1913, Sarah married George C Bicknell, son of Isaih Bicknell and Patience Chase, in Schuyler, New York.
Sarah worked as a bonnet maker for much of her adult life.
Sarah died at the home of Mr and Mrs Tracey Berker where she was being cared for during a year’s illness.
Sarah Roe Bicknell is buried at Mecklenburg Union Cemetery in Hector, Schuyler County, New York.
