Mary Ball
Mary was the seventh child born to Jacob and Mary Vergason Ball. She was christened on December 6, 1789 at The First Presbyterian Church in Morristown, Morris County, NJ. Mary died as a young teen, living only 14 years.
Mary is buried next to her father at The First Presbyterian Churchyard in Morristown, Morris County, NJ. Her headstone still stands today and reads as such:
In memory of Rachel Ball who died July 16, 1773, aged 1 year & 2 months. Also Hannah Ball who died May 8, 1788 aged 2 years & 2 months. Likewise Mary Ball who died July 6, 1804.
