Rachel Ball
Rachel was the second child born to Jacob and Mary Vergason Ball. She died as a child surviving only a little over a year.
Rachel is buried next to her father at The First Presbyterian Churchyard in Morristown, Morris County, NJ. Her headstone still stands today and reads as such:
In memory of Rachel Ball who died July 16, 1773, aged 1 year & 2 months. Also Hannah Ball who died May 8, 1788 aged 2 years & months. Likewise Mary Ball who died July 6, 1804.
