Sarah Elizabeth Ball Kemble
Sarah Elizabeth was the first child born to Ralph and Catherine Titus Ball.
On December 31, 1861 Sarah married Joseph L Kemble and the two had seven children: Melissa Evanna Kemble, Anna Catherine Carmen, Garret Jerome, William James Inglis, Sarah Elizabeth, Lucretia Rorick and Mary Ann.
According to census documents, the family was living in Hardyston in 1860 and relocated to Sparta by 1870. Sarah was a housekeeper and stayed home with the children until her untimely death.
Sarah died in 1880 of phthisis pulmonalis, more commonly known as tuberculosis.
