Lucinda was the 11th and final child born to Jacob T Whitehead and Josephine O Crammer Whitehead. Lucinda would lose her father at the age of 5 and her mother at the age of 12. There are no census records showing where she was living prior to 1900, but it can be assumed she was with one of her older siblings during that time.

Lucinda married Charles Henry Bigley, son of Sheridan Bigley and Sarah Ann Durham Bigley in 1898 and the couple had 3 children: Jacob Whitehead (1898-1955), Hazel (1902-1982), and Lester T (1905).

Lucinda was a homemaker.

Lucinda and Charles lived in Hopewell for most of their married life.

Lucinda died in 1927 and is buried with her husband at Titusville Methodist Church Cemetery in Titusville, Mercer, New Jersey.
