Garret Van Blarcom
Garret, second son of William and Catherine, was born in Sparta, November 10, 1836.
He married Sarah Elizabeth Monroe, daughter of David and Lavina Monroe of Lafayette. Garret and Sarah had one son, Lewis Monroe Van Blarcom, who was born on December 10, 1863.
Like most of the family at this time, Garret was a farmer, working and living in Lafayette, New Jersey.
Garret died on April 20, 1898. He and his wife are buried at Lafayette Cemetery in Lafayette, Sussex, New Jersey.
